    1. Yeah, what was that attack on Feedly and Comic-Rocket about?

By all means, set it up such that you need to click through to the main site to see the comic like Gunnerkrigg Court and other comics do. I'm happy to click through to your site and support you. However, I would not be reading your comic at all if not for the convenience RSS feeds like Feedly.

  5. clicking through from feedly, sorry you don't like aggregate software, I switched to feedly when google news shut down. I'll remove your feed from my list, but I won't remember to ever visit this site. Sorry

  6. Not sure what a feedly is, but I have your home page as a shortcut that I check every morning. So we're good :)

  7. What do I do? I want to give you dollars, but I'll forget to ever read your comic if I don't have it in Feedly.

  8. Ha! I also clicked through from feedly.

My guess is you can't customize your feed because it's blogspot (assumption) - as I see ads (or maybe it's an ad placeholder?) from Questionable Content, and Sam and Fuzzy don't even show the comic - so I usually click on the oldest one in my feed, and then cycle through on the site.

Good to know, though - I'll start doing that with all the comics in my feed.

  9. feedly complaint seemed bizarre and misinformed. feedly is not the problem, nor are the habits & preferences of the readers. if you wish to make money from webcomics and refuse to learn the game of internet monetization (as it is currently played -- not the way it was played prior to RSS, cloud services, and smartphones), or refuse to join up with somebody who knows how to make that work for you, then it's a problem of your own design.

  10. I'm surprised you don't understand how aggregators like Feedly work. If not for rss readers like those, where I have feeds from all my favourite sites, I would remember to visit maybe 4 site daily. Plus, Feedly doesn't have ad revenue. They make money only from people who choose to get a paid subscription.

If you're so worried about people seeing your comic in their readers, and not here, I would suggest you move to a wordpress platform, where you can customise how much of your content shows up in rss readers.
