  1. I had an English teacher in college who used to say she could do this with some films. She was using it as an example of the constant repetition of theme in some works, and she didn't mean it was a good thing.

  3. I watched Dead Snow in its original language with no subs and could still give you a fair idea of the dialogs. The story of course was extremely easy to get just with the visuals.
    Movies like that can be good for their entertainment value but NOT for their stories. o_O

  4. Um... How is that nerdy? Is it just me, or has "I'm a nerd like that" just become a nonsensical filler phrase, similar to "like" "you know" and "whatever". People just throw them into conversation just to cut down on that dreaded silence.

    1. But it does not mean either of you have GOOD taste. And in any case, there are objective criteria by which it is safe to say the hero of this cartoon has bad taste.
