No, the whole point of comics is to read good stories that interest you.
Yeah, I was being sarcastic, recalling the many times I've defended comics to friends who don't consider them real books.

Understanding irony is not this guys strong point. If nobody purchased the comics then there wouldn't be any content to base the movies off of because the comic would get cancelled.
I think understanding anything is not the guy's strong point...
