  5. I often wonder when I hear "fans" relentlessly bitch about every comic in existence if they actually even like the medium, I guess this answers my question.

  8. He's doing it wrong. If you're going to argue against comics being expected to be fun or enjoyable, at least use terms like "sequential art", "graphic novels", "bande dessinée" or whatever. Avoid terms like "comics" or "funny books" in your sentence.
