    1. I tried to see Batman in the theater in '89. All three times we were turned away at different theaters because the film broke. Waited for the VHS to be released, first two copies we bought had corrupted tape.

  2. I saw One Dark Night in the theater back in 1983. Adam West was in it. That movie ruled.

  3. I saw the first Jaws at a drive-in. I can probably just drop the "school fan" part of the phrase and just say that I am "old."

  4. I watched Batman on TV in 1966. If that guy's an old school Batman fan, that makes me a paleolithic school Batman fan.

    2. My sister and brother watched reruns of Batman in the 70's when I was a baby and sang the theme song all the time. No guff, my first word was 'Batman'!

  6. I had some 3D trading cards from the TV show. It was on twice a week, once to set up the cliffhanger and again to resolve it.

  7. I'm seeing this as a character study in attention spans. He probably doesn't realize it was only five years ago, simply because it's not brand new or on the horizon anymore.
