  1. Man, Archie's got it MADE! Everyone else is just a chump.

  2. Seems reasonable.

  3. Just what Betty needs, more competition…

  4. Bless him...

  5. He even got to marry both the babes in split timelines. How can you beat that?

  6. He's also been a superhero, a spy, and a rock star with a #1 hit single (Sugar, Sugar); Archie's done more with his life than any of us ever will.

  7. There are a lot of cats that wished they were Garfield, too. WHERE ARE THEY NOW?!

  8. Archie does have an awesome life, but he was almost killed by the Punisher.

  9. Dirge, the key is "almost". Let's not forget that Archie drives that sweet jalopy (used to transport Homer Simpson back to Springfield after they boot him out).

  10. Hmmm, should be labeled "it's true", since he´s got a point there...

  11. Every time I think of Archie I remember as a kid my grandmother asking if I wanted to watch Archie on TV, only to be sorely disappointed once I learned that she meant Archie Bunker from All in the Family.

But I wonder what antics would ensue if Archie Bunker ever met a bunch of jewish freaks like KISS. That could ALSO turn out to be a good comic!

Yeah, but Archie's also been 16 years old for 80 years.

  13. @Ron- So he's got eternal youth, as well? Sign me up!

  14. Yea he's got two babes, but who's ever seen him get past first base?

  15. You forgot paranormal investigator. He had an animated series in the late 90's called "Archie's Weird Mysteries". He's got almost as many jobs as Barbie.

  16. Archie is pretty fascinating when you think about it. One of the few Golden Age characters to remain in continuous publication, the only non-superhero comic book character to do so, numerous media successes, and two spin-offs that have been successful in they're own right.

  17. And, now he has a gay friend!

  18. And then there was that one issue about a year or so ago where he got with one of the Josie & the Pussycats and did a long-distance thing. He's pretty much the man.

  19. And if he's ever feeling down, ol' Jughead is there to lighten the mood.

Yes, it's great to be Archie.
