    At least someone really cares about her heroes.

  3. An ergonomics expert in the DC or Marvel Universe would probably be an interesting viewpoint

  4. How do we know it's not padded on the inside? Anyway, I'm surprised she's not also asking him to wear a sweater instead of going around shirtless all the time; Hawkman must be incredibly chilly!

  5. I just wonder why the thing doesn't come sailing off in flight, seeing as it has special wind-drag attachments. Perhaps it automatically screws itself onto any skull that's popped into it? ...Surprise, Batman! WHRRRRRRRRR

    Likewise the wings (assuming these are still the artificial ones that snap-on to the small of the back). Do they actually function, or are they the most obnoxious bling ever? Most other fliers seem to get along fine without 'em.

  6. Wasn't his first helmet made of feathers? I bet that was comfy...

  7. @Anon 3:02:

    Only when landing. Otherwise the drag forces just push it down harder.

    @Masamundane:

    No, those feathers were his actual "hair". Wait...were we talking about Hawkman, or Hawk from Buck Rogers?

  8. In response to the question about Hawkman's wings - They contain Nth metal and are used to control his flight mentally.

    The comment about Hawkman wearing a sweater instead of being shirtless all the time - again Nth metal. It regulates body temperature.

  9. @ Anon 3:02? The wings are for steering and the harness/belt provides lift, or that was what the wings he wore used to do. I recall one rather cool older comic where, I think it was Animal Man, tore the wings off the straps of a bad guy Hawk and the Nth metal made them fly off into the upper atmosphere...

  10. perhaps a paper bag with eye holes would be more comfy?

  11. Oh, Nth metal! Is there nothing you can't do? ...Besides make even a little sense?

  14. Perhaps my lady would like to give Hawkman the comfort of thy pillow soft bosom. Fear not! That hard metal thingy you feel is just mine Nth
