To her boyfriend while they waited in line...

No, it would not.

  1. Oh god, suddenly I want to draw exactly that in all its cheezy, exploitative, completely retarded glory.

If only I didn't suck at drawing.

  2. Okay, this one is only funny because she's RIGHT! That would totally rule! Can't you just see an anthropomorphic engine that's totally depressed and angry because people keep killing themselves by jumping in front of him? At some point, he would snap and go on a rampage. He'd only listen to depressing hobo songs. Diesel soot has turned his cheery red paint pitch black.

    Please, someone make this!

  3. Someone should do a drug and psychedelic version of thomas the tank engine. That would rule.
The plot; hippies make a bong out of him and then shit gets crazy.

  4. Well everyone said a darker Battlestar Gallactica would suck too...

  5. How dark do you want it? Thomas the Tank Engine is already an allegory on erectile dysfunction. The Fat Controller? The writer's wife.

Anyone have stats on how many tunnels Thomas goes through in the series?

  6. Someone should do a dark like, gothic take on Beetlejuice. That would....
    ....oh wait. Nevermind.

  7. Someone should do a dark like, gothic take on The Crow. That would...oh wait.

    Nevermind.

  8. My dark, gothic take on The Crow is just a single drop of blood falling, against a black background, for two hours. Thirty minutes in, the blood drop cries a single tear.

  9. Someone should do Anything Other Than a dark like, gothic take on Anything. That would be a shocker.

  10. I thought they had made it, 'Ivor The Engine'.

  11. @jujuwiz: How exactly does a train go on a rampage? I'd think that being on a track would severely curtail one's rampage potential.

Haven't you seen the ads for that Denzel movie? One simply derail oneself in a densely populated area while carrying seriously toxic materials, of course.

  25. Hah. Lightweights. THIS is Thomas The Tank Engine far gothier and dark than any of you can possibly stand:
