  2. I love when it's just funny folks, you should put more of that. The stupid/pretentious ones to hate, it's getting old faster :)

  4. Does he want Spidey to punch is wife in the face?
The wife yells about to many comics, Spidey jumps in with a joke and a knuckle sandwich.

  5. I think BanZZ's comment should be the next strip.

  6. The joke is that he thinks that superhero comics are actually documentaries.

  8. Isn't it "Spider-Man"?

  9. Spider-Man: "Everybody gets one. Tell'em Peter."

    "Yeah apparently everybody gets one."

I think he hopes Spidey will bring his wife-erasing buddy Mephisto by.

  12. I think he has a point. After all he's done for them, the least they could do is, just once, have his back.

  14. How does he know that Spider Man wouldn't take his wife's side in this? Have we ever seen Spider Man read or buy a comic book?

  15. I'd put this in Crazies as well as It's True.

  16. I know, I know. I feel the same way when I'm cleaning the bathroom, and wish that Superman would show up and do it for me.

Yes, actually. Sensational Spider-Man #-1 (1997). It's a story of young Peter Parker reading a bunch of Journey into Mystery and Tales to Astonish then having a nightmare where he and Uncle Ben fight monsters like Groot and Vandoom. Then Aunt May took away his whole collection. Pretty sure that Spidey would side with the dude.

Also Amazing Spider-Man 306 has him talk about comics and his crush on Supergirl as a kid. MJ buys him a comic in that issue.
Also during the (lame) BND he works at a comic store and Peter talks about his comic collection (which May takes away again) in Spider-Man 2.
