After her friend told her that it had snowed in Los Angeles over the weekend...

At first I thought it was strangely sweet that this girl was
concerned about someone she didn't even know all that well but then
I saw her shirt and all the Twilight buttons and I was seriously bummed out.

  1. At first I thought it might be about a pet she named after the character.

  2. I'm pretty sure that Kristin Stewart the actress is OK, and perfectly content to not know this person.

  3. Still remember that one story where an eleven year old girl asked Robert Pattinson to bite her in a clothing store... x_x

  4. It snowed in Los Angeles?

  5. You let a Twilight fan in your store *and* you let it live? They're like zombies, man, you're supposed to shoot them in the head!

  6. Wow, you'd find this if you looked for "Horrifying" in the dictionary...

This should more than likely be under the CRAZIES category. Ah well...

I mean, she was worried because it snowed? I can't get mad at other peoples' fandoms, because I KNOW that if Alan Tudyk was in danger, I would freak out, but snow? Really?

  9. @darkwhitewolf: But the difference is, Tudyk is a real person. Bella is not. This person wasn't worried about Kristin Stewart being...I don't know, cold? She's worried about a fictional character being affected by real-world snow.

  10. Why would Bella (if she were real) be in LA? I don't know Twilight well enough to understand that.

@spiritoftehrain- I know! I used to think what kind of ungrateful jerk hates his fans, then I heard that story and understood.

  11. "MY" Bella? For some reason that part bothers me the most. Really it's pretty hard to make sense of that as it is, and the "my" isn't helping.

  12. Maybe her friend is actually named Bella? And maybe they're both really into Twilight? Eigher way, they're both nuts!

And yes, it did snow in L.A.

  13. @Pixie: I love Robert Pattinson because he fully acknowledged that his character was a fairly creepy sex fantasy from the get-go, and that he wilfully played Edward like a socially inept, self-loathing stalker. XD Major chops for him for being so up-front about that.

Also remember the story where he supposedly confronted a female stalker and tried to make VERY clear that he was a normal, mundane human being and not a magical romancing vampire...

  14. @spiritoftherain: I had not heard that story, though it does not surprise me.

I will admit I enjoyed the Twilight books, but I read other harlequin trash and I just lump it all together. I just don't understand the obsession.

  15. Just as vampires are afraid of sunlight, garlic, wooden stakes and Stephenie Meyer, actors who play vampires are afraid of snow, fennel, mirrors that display their wooden acting and Anne Rice.

  16. Isn't it pretty obvious that she is talking about her Bella figure? They sell stupid little dolls of the Twilight characters. For example, the Jacob doll is sold without a shirt.

I'm not a Twilight fan, the fandom irks me too.

You're joking, right? You think she's afraid her action figure (which she somehow doesn't know) will get cold?

  18. I'm thinking this girl probably has an RPG friend who lives in LA and plays that part. Or at least that's the most reasonable thing I can think of, which is still unsettling...

  19. @Mint, oh that makes sense! At last, a glimpse of sanity.

  20. Er... wouldn't it be possible that she said "My Bella" to specifically refer to "her" Bella, rather than the Twilight one? I know when I've had friends who dated people with the same name as our SO, we'd refer to them as "mine" or "his" just for clarity.
