  1. I wonder what lesbian Batwoman would think of you buddy. "That's so hot" doesn't really come to mind.

  2. You could suggest the internet to him. The internet certainly has batwoman in it, and likely the way he is hoping to find her.

  4. Makes me a bit sad that people still call her "Lesbian Batwoman". The qualifier really isn't neccassary is it?

  5. I wonder how long until he realizes the comic isn't the type that aims lesbian sex at straight men.

  6. To Ian:

exactly the reason why I don't flat say that the main character to my Bystander novel is bisexual and only have one line of her teasing a woman to imply it throughout the first book

  7. Should have let him known The Question is a lesbian too, maybe they'd finally give her an ongoing...or a mini...or...a guest appearance in someone elses book...or something, anything really.

  10. What's unfortunate about these moutbreathers reading the comics is that Batwoman: Elegy (Rucka/Williams III) is one of the best story arcs DC has done in years, and the new Batwoman is one of the most fascinating, well-written characters DC has on their roster. And 80% of the readers are morons who hear the word "lesbian" and immediately think "subgenre".

@Anon- It's not THAT unfortunate. Sure, it'd be great if people would appreciate it for the excellent writing, brilliant artwork, any number of things. But it is the case, and the reason for the aformentioned Question's absence, that comics are driven by profit, and if a bunch of morons are buying the book to find girl-on-girl action, they're giving DC a reason to keep on publishing it- and giving us more access to the brilliance that was the team behind Batwoman. In other words- I like it when morons pay for keeping my awesome in print. It would've been great if they'd done it for Nextwave, but I like it when it happens.
