As he interrupted two guys talking about Hugh Jackman in the upcoming Wolverine movie...

  1. Whoa, someone really needs to tell Hugh Jackman's wife.

  2. Okay. Just because Hugh Jackman can portray Peter Allen on Broadway doesn't mean he swings like Peter Allen.

  3. Ha, I wish! Wolverine has lived so long one would think...

  4. Man, your customers sure are homophobic. I can't imagine running into so many gay haters.

  5. No, no, he means that WOLVERINE is gay, not Hugh Jackman.

...The jury's still out on that one.

  6. @Ruben - some people never get past highschool: you get beat up for being gay, black, nerdy, whatever, and it hurts the same, but somehow each group still thinks, 'well at least I'm not those other guys...'

empathy and solidarity are two things you don't really get without maturity.

  7. I can't take Hugh Jackman seriously because he's not nearly rugged enough to play Wolverine. The fact that he's probably gay has nothing to do with it.

  8. I don't know about his ability to potray Wolverine but Hugh Jackman probably is gay. One look at his wife can tell you that.

  9. His wife!!! I thought he was in a Civil Partnership!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Yes, wife. He even has two kids, as well. But let's not allow such trivial things as facts get in the way of accusations of homosexuality. Hell, people are still waiting on Tom Cruise to "come out of the closet."

  11. Yeah, because there has NEVER been a gay man who married or had kids.

  12. Nope not one.

  13. So a possible gay man as a fictional superhero who isn't particularly described as straight, and more fills out a bear role in gay culture, and that destroys this man's suspension of disbelief?

  14. Wolverine has definitely porked a man or two in his years. You don't think him and Northstar ever shared a sleeping bag on those cold Canadian nights? They totally did.

  15. This is the best comments section I've read in years.

  16. Considering the greatest loves of Wolverine's life have been women, living a long life doesn't make him gay. Bicurious, maybe, but not exclusively gay.

  17. Wow. I couldn't believe him as Wolverine because he's too bloody tall.

  18. WHAT upcoming Wolverine movie? Why is there one of those?

  19. Somebody better not tell him that Magneto is played by a gay man or his brain might explode.
