That's pretty much one of the main reasons I buy volumes instead.
I know, it SUCKS!!! That's why I started Tivo-ing every episode of Walking Dead and, transferring it to DVD-R. It is so much easier when I have to move.
Lucky for this guy, the public library now has many comics in stock. He'll probably still have to buy some, but maybe not all of them.
People used to (maybe still do) do that for Anime.
