While discussing the current wave of 90's nostalgia...(From the OVC Archive!)

  1. Oh, how I warned you all. When they started remaking, rehashing, adapting or otherwise co-opting stuff from my childhood, I pointed a bony finger at all of you 1990s kids and said, "It will happen to you one day." You didn't believe me, and kept spending money on stuff like 2014 "RoboCop" and "Tron: Legacy."

Now you're dealing with "Fuller House" and a nonsensical "Power Rangers" cinematic reboot. Not to mention an "Independence Day" sequel 15 years too late for anyone to care.

Oh, yes. Enjoy it in a few years when someone decides to make "Matrix" prequels and Fox decides it's time to unveil "That 90s Show." I'll just be over here cackling at your reactions.

    1. The 90's almost killed the comic industry.

    2. No one spent money on the 2014 Robocop...

  2. Lot of that going around. The Doors rock band now sells more records in a single year than they sold in ALL the time they were a real band in the 1960s.
