  1. The shirt just makes it even more ironic

  2. Oh damn, now this one pisses me off. I'm 40 and was listening to Beastie Boys in grade school, License to Ill, 1986. I would've smack that kid.

  3. And people wonder why I don't want kids.

  4. I'm not sure a teenage kid could catch references to "pink Champale."

    1. Ahh, Champale, the beverage of choice for people too snooty to drink Ripple.

  5. I don't even know what that means. Are high school kids into the Beastie Boys?

  6. I'm impressed that the Beastie Boys are still popular with high school kids.

  7. I don't think anyone should be allowed to wear a band T-shirt if they weren't born yet when the band broke up...

    1. Was born in '87, love Pink Floyd.
Do I get to wear the shirts referencing albums made before Roger Waters left, or...?

    2. You are permitted to wear Pink Floyd shirts only if your basis of love for Pink Floyd came from more than "The Wall". If it comes from "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict", you get a pass.

    3. You are permitted to wear Pink Floyd shirts if you acquire a Pink Floyd shirt and want to wear it.

    4. Just FYI, old-man versions of this guy aren't any less pathetic than little-kid ones...

  8. It was the tenth anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death and while I was working in retail, a kid walked into the store wearing that classic Nirvana 'smiley' t-shirt.

"Hey kid, how old are you?"
    "Eleven."
"Wow, so you were 1 year old when he killed himself"
    "When who killed himself."

    ... That shut me up.
