I was saddened to hear of the recent passing of Brian Jacoby. Brian was the owner of Secret Headquarters comic shop in Tallahassee Florida and a regular contributor to several comics news websites. While I only knew him through our online interactions, I can tell you he was a good guy with a great sense of humor. A long time reader of Our Valued Customers, his comments on this site always put a smile on my face and he will be greatly missed. So long, buddy.
I was sorry to hear the news too. Though I'd never met him, I'd "spoken" to him often on the message boards on the old Captain Comics web site.
ReplyDeleteBrian was a great guy, he ran the best shop in Tallahassee, and he hosted game nights every month where dozens of people would get together and play different board games with each other. He was a great guy and his presence is sorely missed.
