Like, omigawd. I like totally was flipping through like the channels on my parents' TV, and like I saw this show called "The Twilight Zone" and like stuff. I got sooooo excited. But I turned it on and I and I was like, "like, whatever. This isn't 'Twilight.' It's all a bunch old black and white people!" Stephanie Meyer should totally sue those old lame people.
Can't stand Twilight myself, but I feel kind of sorry for her. I'm only going by this one cartoon, but it looks like she's just come out of a sheltered fandom and feels the slings and arrows of outrageous... *sense* for the first time.
Sadly, these people do exist, and they are legion.
ReplyDeleteBecause there sure is something to understand there, right?
ReplyDeleteLet me guess, she's not on the debate team, right?
ReplyDeleteShe's on the "Modern US Congress" debate team . . .
DeleteI don't know whether to laugh or cry...
DeleteI agree, Twilight Sparkle is the easiest of the Mane 6 to understand.

DeleteSpot on!
No she's got me there... I DON'T understand it. I don't understand why anyone likes it.
ReplyDeleteAhh, that old chestnut. "You don't like the thing I like so you obviously didn't understand it." Works every time.
ReplyDeleteWell then, explain it to me, hunny. I'll wait.
ReplyDeleteI'm cool with anything that increases the number of goth chicks in our society; even by 1.
ReplyDeleteThis individual may have it. Long game.
DeleteAgreed, but what does Twilight have to do with this?
DeleteIntroduction to vampires.
DeleteI'm not sure she's "Goth"-y so much as just a girl who cuts herself a lot. Then again I guess there's probably little difference.
DeleteUmm...it couldn't possibly be the horrendously poor writing, dialogue, exposition and plot?
ReplyDeleteCan't stand Twilight myself, but I feel kind of sorry for her. I'm only going by this one cartoon, but it looks like she's just come out of a sheltered fandom and feels the slings and arrows of outrageous... *sense* for the first time.
ReplyDeleteChange the gender, replace "Twilight" with "Donnie Darko" and you've got another cartoon.
ReplyDeleteBut then that person would have a valid point.
DeleteBut not really. More likely that person hadn't seen all the movies Richard Kelly stole from.
Delete"More likely that person hadn't seen all the movies Richard Kelly stole from." I guess you could replace "Twilight" with "Any Tarantino movie", then.
DeleteSure. I'd go along with that. But adding that a couple of Tarantino movies were in the Darko swipe file.
DeleteIf that's what you think, then I've got a bridge to sell you.
ReplyDeleteDelete as Spam, please.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what's worse-the fact she's saying that while wearing a 'Monster High' shirt, or that I recognize it's a 'Monster High' shirt.
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't like twilight it's because you're male.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I thought you had to BE stupid in order to like Twilight.
