  3. Oh, honey. NONE of the X-Men titles are important.

  5. There's an alternate universe where you can start at #1 of a comic and read them in numerical order and actually be reading them in order of release, from beginning to end. That must be a nice universe to live in.

  6. See people, this is what we need. Simple sarcasm without all the snark.

  7. The guy that works the counter at my local comic shoppe likes to complain about people calling up offering to sell their copy of X-Men #1. I kept wanting to put one of my other friends up to calling about X-Men #2 and send him in with my copy of X-Men #2 from 1963 as a joke. It would probably be funnier if I had X-Men 1. I could pull it off with Fantastic Four #1 but it would not be as funny.

  8. Then once Marvel realizes they're about to hit a milestone number, they'll just combine the volumes. "No. This isn't X-Men 29. It's... uh.. X-Men 750! Yeah, that's the ticket."

  10. I bought it. Not because i thought it would be important, but I kinda liked the idea that the ladies of the team were going to be in the spotlight without it being just stupid cheesecake. It was a pretty cool issue. Not an "important" one, but a pretty cool one.

  11. Yeah, she was "bamboozled" into buying all those comics she actually didn't want!

    1. Well, with the power of Hindsight, a fan can convince herself that she was duped to make her own purchasing choices, or that she was doing so Ironically.
