  9. I think perhaps the guy has more problem with his word choices than with being a jerk. When you see a piece of entertainment on film that has so, so much potential and fails so completely to realize it, and you then see legions of fans of the source material talking about how badly the TV people have ruined it completely, then of course you want to go to that source and see that potential actually reached. And then, yes, you will hate the awful show even more, and truly understand more how far it fell from it's origin because of your new, more informed status.

  10. It did take the show to get me to buy the trades. I had heard so much over the years about the comic but I hate trying to get into a serialized story so late in the game. After reading the first volume, I was hooked. And I do think the show improves on some of Kirkman's ideas (and I'll bet even he agrees)
