While discussing adult accomplishments and Spongebob...

  1. I'll grant that this guy is probably smarter than most kids--MOST, mind you--but I draw the line at "way" smarter.

  2. Sometimes you need a gif to express your reactions about these kind of statements. Sometimes you need two.

  4. Dude, really?

  5. Those stupid little kids think that they are getting ALL the jokes also. How much do you want to bet that Fred Flintstone up there is missing at least 1/3 of them?

    1. I have a younger brother--like, fourteen years younger--and we both enjoy watching Regular Show (albeit on different levels).

There was one episode, "Video Game Wizards," where they riffed off the Power Glove, even going so far as to use the line "It's so bad!"

Naturally, I was laughing up a storm at the parody, but my aforementioned brother, who couldn't possibly have gotten the reference, started laughing in response and repeating the "It's so bad!" line repeatedly, pretty much killing it for me.

So, the guy in the comic does come off a bit dim, but I can TOTALLY UNDERSTAND where he's coming from.

  6. Ahhhh... grown ups say the funniest things, don't they...!

Make sure he doesn't know about Santa being fictional. There will be tears.

  7. ...But can he see why kids LOVE Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

    1. Because they don't taste like apples!

Wait, I may be mixed up.

  8. This is one of my favorites.

I would pay to watch this guy work at a daycare, strutting around, all superior and condescending to the little children.

  9. I would laugh at this if it didn't hit embarrassingly close to home.

  10. Congratulations, I expect you can kick their ass at football as well.

  11. This is filled with so much wisdom that my brain exploded.

  12. Little kids aren't *supposed* to get all the jokes in cartoons for little kids. Some of those jokes are put in there for the little kids' adult supervision, so they don't get bored enough to turn off the TV and encourage the little kids to play outside or something instead.
