  4. Unless said dystopian future is an awesome sauce apocalyptic wasteland a la Thundarr the Barbarian (complete with Mok sidekicks for everybody), then I say bring on the bright, shiny Legion of Superheroes future!

  6. Dystopias generally aren't apocalypses. They tend to be totalitarian regimes where oppression is the norm. You want to live in a distopia? Try China or North Korea. Especially North Korea.
