  2. I like to think at the time They were off in Latveria so Richards and Doom could have another ego stroking slap fight.

  4. New York is crawling with Heroes AND Villains... Fantastic Four and Spiderman might not even exist yet in the Avengers movie universe though... they have not appeared as cannon Marvel Cinematic Universe yet... only the Marvel Studios ones fit together officially and in the Ultimate Universe (for example) Spiderman and the Fantastic Four come onto the scene well after the establishment of the "Ultimates"

  6. The Fox lawyers wouldn't let them. If you think about it, lawyers are the biggest, most damaging reoccurring villain in comic history.

  7. I liked to assume Spidey and FF (assuming they were in this dimension) were fighting aliens in different parts of the city. We just did not see it.

If they were anything like the FF from the recent movies, the Avengers were better off without them. Plus moviegoers would be confused as to why Capt. America suddenly gained flame powers and turned into a total douchebag.

  9. The FF were too busy fighting a giant storm cloud that likes to eat planets.
