To his friend...

  1. He must have missed most of the sitcoms ever made.

  2. I've only ever seen one of the paintings in the Louvre but I've seen enough to know that it's the worst art museum ever.

  3. Oddly enough, most people who go to the Louvre only spend more than two seconds looking at one particular painting.
Good thing they document it for posterity using their BlackBerrys, otherwise it might be lost to history.

  4. I only saw the Double Meat Palace episode of Buffy, and clearly, that show is the worst show ever aired on television.

  7. -My girlfriend thought the same thing until I showed her The New Adventures from the beginning. -Never could get her into the original series though.
Still... small victories. -Take 'em when you can get 'em.

  8. There's a perfectly reasonable explanation: he only watched "Love and Monsters".

  9. Hey everyone, lets be fair. Maybe the episode was one of the 6th doctor, he wasn't able to hear the dialogue through his MASSIVE cauliflower ear, and based his opinion on that awful patchwork coat he wore.

  10. He's absolutely right.

  11. Had to have been an RTD-era episode.

  12. I love a lot of sci-fi shows and hated Dr. Who. It never really grabbed me.

  13. Yeah, Cop Rock was way better!

  14. If he saw any episode made after 1989, then he's not wholly incorrect.

  15. Dr. Who is hugely overrated but it's far from the worst.

  16. I've only watch one episode in it's entirety and bits and pieces of both old and new episodes alike. Mannequins that come to life wasn't really doing it for me. Nothing dopey about not liking a fairly bad show.

  19. I've only watched the whole damn thing. Seriously, I don't know what kept me going, must have been the many people praising it, but the writing is abysmal, the acting mediocre at best except for the Doctor himself (and not even him shines most of the times), it offers no deeper meaning or even a resemblance of such, the disregard for basic physic notions is blatant and the whole thing feels like a show for little kids.

Which most likely is, as Christopher Eccleston pointed out. That's the only guy I liked in this whole franchise, he was enjoying the hell out of that role.
