While explaining his shirt to his friend...

  1. So there's no real ambiguity about whether this shirt is real or fake...so this comic is horrifying on two levels.

  2. I probably belong on this page, because until I saw the "UFC" tag, I thought he was talking about Magic cards.
    Such a geek. -_-;

    1. I assumed it was some band I hadn't heard of.

    2. I also thought it was a Magic card reference at first. :-|

    2. Yeah, these guys hardly represent all of MMA fans. But since you said "Jesus, MMA fans" you should check out the clothing line "jesus didn't tap" for people who are really "Jesus MMA" fans. And no, I'm serious.

    3. Jesus didn't tap is brought to you in part by Tommy the Green Ranger.
      Seriously, it is.

    4. Of course Jesus didn't tap, he couldn't, he was stuck in a crucifix.

  4. Tap Out shirts are primarily owned by the same douchebags who sported No Fear stickers on the back window of their pickup trucks. Also, said pickup trucks always have pristine bed liners because these pussies would squeal in horror if you ever suggested they use their manhood symbol to actually haul anything.

    1. I used to love using a marker to modify those No Fear stickers into No Bear. I did buy a No Fear t-shirt once because I used a Sharpi to modify it to read.

"I will climb the steepest cliffs
I will swim the swiftest rivers
I will fight the mightiest foes
      because I have
      NO BEER"

  5. If I had to listen to this guy prattle on, I'd definitely tap out.

  6. What, no "Fighter" tag for this guy?

  7. I...I didn't understand a word of this.

  8. Yeah, even after reading his explanation, I still have no idea what he's talking about.

  9. In Mixed Martial Arts, if you get your opponent in a hold that can break a bone or otherwise injure them, they have to "tap out" by slapping the floor to signal that they concede the match. Or at least that's my understanding, I'm not the biggest MMA fan either.

  11. So basically he walks around in a shirt that says "Surrender".

  12. "So basically he walks around in a shirt that says 'Surrender'."

the slogan is not meant to represent the weakness of the loser. it represents the strength of the winner. like in boxing, there are victories by knockout, decision, etc. and then there's also the victory by submission. because of the particular skill and tactical finesse that's involved in achieving victories by submission, as opposed to some of the other types of victories, MMA fans tend to hold fighters in high esteem when they're able to consistently score such wins. so... tapout. it's akin to a baseball fan wearing a shirt that says "grand slam," or something along those lines.

  13. LOL @ headpunch faggots like this guy. Why is it that people who wear Tapout shirts automatically think it'll make 'em a bad-ass who can fight?
