Today's customer was submitted by
Mike Mcauley who overheard this in his his local comic shop.
He explained that "If you don't have them, Kumon learning center
tutors 'slow' learners who have trouble at school..."
Congrats to Mike and be sure to check back
here all week to see the rest of the winners!
I...don't think that's how it works, lady.
ReplyDeleteHey, Anonymous 1, yes it is! My son started school in French and so (when he was around 8 or 9) was below level reading in English. We got him playing some CCGs on top of tabletop game. Very quickly his reading picked up, and he happily memorized even the flavour text on hundreds and hundreds of cards.
ReplyDeleteThese aren't the grades I'm looking for.
ReplyDeleteFlawless victory.
ReplyDeleteSomeone's edging towards the Dark Side...
ReplyDeleteTypo in blog heading.
ReplyDeleteReally "sorceror"?
ReplyDeleteUh. I want to disagree with her because she looks so white trash, but I can't find flaw in her logic.
ReplyDeleteHAHA, I had to do math studies at Kumon (in Argentina), kinda freaky to see it referenced here...
ReplyDeleteLady, forget the comics. Just buy him the duct tape, stun gun, and remote cabin in the woods. We can all see where this is heading.
ReplyDeleteKumon isn't just for slow learners, it'll also happily take money from parents of fast learners who think their kids aren't fast enough and want to drill them over and over so their test scores go from 98% to 100%
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing
ReplyDeleteLook, I don't like people in Red Sox hats anymore than the next guy, but when you're right, you're right. And this chick's right.
