After he looked through a stack of UNCLE SCROOGE comics he asked me...

  1. They did a Punisher/Archie cross over at one point, so really, a Howard The Duck/Duck Tales one wouldn't be TOO out there.

  2. No. Its *NOT* happening is the complete and total maintenance of normality on a universal scale.

  3. I'm all for it.

  4. Why do they have to fight?

  5. If I were Magneto, I'd totally be all up in McDuck's vault

  6. Actually, I'd like a Capt. Carrot/ Darkwing Duck crossover.

  10. Duck tales ruined Huey, Louie, and Dewie. Rescue Rangers ruined Chip and Dale.

  11. You don't get Chip And Dale like I do. That's why I have all the tattoos

  12. @ Galaxy Scott: What makes you think he'd win?

  13. Old-school pre-Duck Tales Huey, Louie, and Dewey were choatic little brats. Unless you write for DC, "fight" doesn't necessarily mean they go after Howard with crowbars or Howard flays them alive and screaming; could just be an escalating prank war (until Howard loses his s***).

Howard's had problems with psychotic children before (the piss-poorly written "Captain Americana" story from the B&W magazine days).

I tried reading Boom's Rescue Rangers comic. When did Chip and Dale get so emo?

  16. Howard the Duck? What the hell does he do? Duck shit? That's dumb.

  17. Slade: did anyone do Batman for that one?

  18. Some of these comments might be said as a joke. You get jokes, rite?

  19. Ah hah! Clever lad that he is, Anonymous has arrived at the concept of contextualization.

He's able to discern more nuance from these animated situations than Mr Tim, who is actually observing the individuals being lampooned up close.

    Right?

  20. On a more obscure note, I'd like to see Rocket Raccoon fight Ch'p of the Green Lantern Corp. But not really. Crossover stories are eternally lame for the most part.

  21. Now that Disney owns Marvel, this is much more likely....
