While he explained why I wasn't a true SUPERMAN fan...

  1. That's insensitive to Superman, who can't even get tattoos.

  2. Well that sounds actually plain true.

So, according to this guy, tattoos can help me understand things better than others? So if I get a tattoo of quantum physics, I'll be able to truly "get" the theories and such? Sweet! Time to get that Schrodinger's Cat on my shoulder I've been wanting!

No, you have that wrong. He didn't say he understands it BECAUSE has has tattoos, he said he got the tattoos BECAUSE he really understands it. The tattoos are evidence, not the cause.

  5. Yeah his tie to Superman is so beautiful and pure he can't help but permanently advertise this bromance on his flesh. It's pretty simple to understand.

  6. He's absolutely right. I don't get AT ALL a half century old character that is such a thorough anachronism.

  7. Hmmm... Let's see if that Superman tattoo can deflect a bullet.

  8. He didn't just get Supes tattoos. He got ALL THE SUPERMAN TATTOOS. EVER.

  9. I wonder if he has the full-sized Superman "S" tattooed on his chest? Now, that would be some kind of proof. Of something.

  10. Did he get a tattoo of blue electricity Superman? That would be some dedication right there

  11. Holy shit, I had completely forgotten about the electric blue supes (and the red, too) - COMPLETELY. Thanks for that.

  12. It's a tattoo of Supermans outfit as kind of an all over thing. That way, when he's naked, He appears to be dressed as Superman. He does in in phone booths all over the Eastern seaboard. In with a suit and glasses, out with his "Superman suit."

  13. He and Shaq... They both get it.

  14. Am I the only one thinking tattoos as the temporary ones that come on a bookmark sheet of white paper?

  15. Okay,

That's just plain weird, I look like that guy, have that tattoo in that exact place.

I must have a doppelgänger that's the only explanation.

  16. So i'm guessing all those jocks who'd struggle to even read a comic book with superman tattoos are TRUE fans.
