  1. So a sequel that he hasn't watched to a movie that he hasn't watched makes him angry? THAT MAKES PERFECT SENSE.

  2. You know what, I kind of get where he's coming from here.

    Sorry guys.

  3. Please explain, Anon #2. I want to also kind of get it.

  4. He's mad because movie studios can't come up with an original project.

  5. That's not something new. Hollywood has been adapting and sequelizing FOREVER.

  6. There's nothing wrong with a sequel done well. Only with a sequel for the sake of making a sequel.

  7. Especially the horrible sequels made 20 years later. Crystal Skull anyone?

  8. Yeah, but for every horrible sequel (and there have been MANY) we get a "Godfather 2', "Toy Story 2 & 3", "Spider-Man 2", "Empire Strikes Back", "The Wrath Of Khan", etc....

  9. Guys, the joke here is that he thought there was more than one Tron movie originally.

  10. Don't hate the reason for making a crappy movie, hate the crappy movie. It COULD have been good...

I suspect this guys default reaction is to get angry, whatever the stimulus.

  11. I dont know if I 'get it', but I feel pretty much the same. There was no reason to make another Tron. Some stories end, it happens, however appealing the fictional universe.

No reason to drudge Tron up for the sake of continuing a story that ended well. I wouldnt be as angry if they had made it an original story in that setting, instead of tying it into the first one.

  12. Sometimes it's best not to question someone's logic. It's just not worth the headache.

  13. Wasn't The Maltese Falcon something like the third adaptation of that book/remake within ten years?

  14. **sigh**

I liked Crystal Skull a lot.

  15. I'm curious if you manage to gloss over these comments or if morbid curiosity takes over and you ask them to explain?
