Instead of arguing over who would be Robin, my friend and I decided to both be Batman. Never seemed like a problem. ...And like they say, two Batmans are better than one. :-)
@ Anon 4:05am: You clearly never noticed the homosexual undertones in Batman and Robin's relationship back during the 60's.
Also, there's been more than one Robin, each of varying ages, and there was even a female Robin in an alternate-universe story (The Dark Knight Returns).
At least she wasn't angry because he called her a "Muthafucker".
