Sinestro strikes!

  1. I did the same with the Thor movie, only I also sent the studio an additional ten million for advertising. I'm posting billboards for the film right now. I'm that desperate to make sure everyone sees how bad the film will be.

  2. I'm sure he's wearing a deadmau5 shirt to let everybody know how terrible that music is, too.

  3. I also sent the Green Lantern trailer to all my friends to show them how shitty it is going to be. And they all agree, it looks pretty shitty.

    And I like Deadmau5.

OH MY GOD - THAT'S ME!!!

  9. Oh man, the Thor = White Power debate again? As if a deity originally worshiped by people from Northern Europe in the Dark Ages was going to be anything other than white-skinned or powerful? People need to seriously get a grip.

It's not like Anansi is an icon for Black Power, he just happens to be a black dude when he's in human form. AND I'M NOT COMPLAINING.

There is, in fact, a white supremacist group that is protesting the Thor movie because the Anglo-African actor Idris Elba has been cast as Heimdall.

Oddly (or not, given that they probably do not recruit from the highest end of the gene pool), they are blaming Marvel Comics for this, whom they label an anti-American group because Stan Lee (nothing more than a figurehead for decades) once threw a fundraiser for Bill Clinton. In their view, those pinkos at Marvel put Elba in the movie just to tear down white culture. A saner person would assume this was the idea of director Kenneth Branagh, who has a history of this sort of non-traditional casting (e.g., Denzel Washington in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING).
