She asked me...

Nice.

  1. I'm sorry, you'll have to elaborate for me, I don't get this one. I mean, as far as I'm aware, working in a comic book shop means occasionally having to point out where specific comics are.

  2. I'm more than happy to help anyone who comes into my store. However when someone is passively (in this case with a T-shirt) telling me to 'Go Fuck Myself' I can't help but not feel like it.

  3. Yeah, I was confused as well. I didn't realize it was about her shirt. The first comics series I read (besides Donald Ducks as a child) was Sandman. After finishing them I wandered inside our local comics store for a while, helplessly out of place and lost.

I'm not sure what my point was, but anyway, I like your site.

  4. Surely you don't think that shirt was directed at you?

  5. T-shirts by their very nature are directed at everybody who sees them.

  6. Unless you wear a t-shirt that says "I don't mean YOU."

  7. 'Unless you wear a t-shirt that says "I don't mean YOU."'

If someone doesn't make a t-shirt that says that, it'll be a crime against nature.

  9. Why was that a problem for you?

  10. This reminds me of the time someone asked if we were hiring while wearing a "I <3 Blowjobs" t-shirt.

That he was asking me for a job while wearing a shirt about 'jobs was way too meta for me.

This entire blog is passive-aggressive, just look at how you denominate your tags: "jerks", "creeps" and "crazies".

    Comedy gold by the way.

  12. If you're taking people's t-shirts as personal insults, then you need professional help

  13. As the proud owner of a "You knob jockey" T-shirt, I gotta confess: I wear that t-shirt to annoy people, so I totally accept the creators right to be offended by similar.

  15. When I first read this one I thought it was a dig at how Sandman is a relatively minor villain character in the Spider-Man series and would not be very likely to have his own comic series. Then I realized DC has a Sandman, too.

  16. Ahahaha, what a pussy. "Oh no, an offensive shirt! This makes it hard for me to do my JOB."

Except it was more of a comment on the kind of person who wears a shirt that says 'Go Fuck Yourself'. You're _really_ missing the point on this one.
