You mean irony like when a big fat guy who's eating french fries and smells like cigarettes wears a t-shirt bearing the logo of a super hero who's power is that he can run really fast? Because if THAT'S what you mean then you're right. There's nothing funny about irony.
Black Dynamite was righteously funny! There's a reason it beat 'The Hurt Locker' at the Seattle International Film festival, and that reason is awesome.
