  5. KFC actually IS a particularly cruel company. They process the chickens while they're still alive. There are crazy, tinfoil hat Republicans in Congress who think animals and the rest of nature were put on Earth for the pleasure of humanity and even most of them think KFC's business practices are unnecessarily cruel and should be reformed.

Actually KFC doesn't process any chickens at all, they buy their chicken from companies like Perdue and Tyson, so they can hardly be any more or less cruel than any other restaurant that buys chickens from the major national sources of poultry. Now you can argue that the way chickens are farmed is cruel, but that doesn't point a finger at KFC specifically, now does it?
