From what I read, the "Dislike" button won't be akin to Reddit's "downvote" button. Instead, it will be more of an "I know that feel" button.
You don't want to "like" when someone posts about a loved one dying, but you want to maybe show them you sympathize. That's where the new button comes in.
I was just wishing for a "dislike" button the other day when a friend of mine posted a photo of an enormous spider she had discovered in her house. She was not keeping it as a pet. It was posted to share the terror. A "dislike" button would be good for that.
You people are being way too rational. This is the Internet, you know. AND btw, what is it with all these spammy comments, lately? And why would anyone take advice from "cheap writing service"?
Yeah, the facebook crowd is about to have a real wake-up call.

ReplyDeleteYou made some good points here. I did a search on the topic and found most people agree with your blog. Thanks

ReplyDeleteEspecially since one of the previous ones had truly atrocious grammar. A cheap service indeed.
DeleteAlso, I really just want to be able to dislike that giant spider. Dislike it with fire.
