    2. Maybe he was there to let everyone else know how cool he is?

    3. Well, he said it to his friend. We are to assume THAT'S what he was doing there.

Also, there are other reasons to go to a comic shop anyway. Like Magic cards.

  5. The best part of this one is that it means that presumably at some point he picked up comics in an effort to be "cool" and then about two years ago it came to his attention that comic books were not cool at all. Probably encountered some type of wise-crack or teasing or noticed an episode of Big Bang Theory where "Nerds read Comics" was a punchline.

So, he dropped comics like a sack of bricks, and then he picked up what? What does he think is cool now? When he tells his friend "This is how you become cool like me" where does that go?

  8. But...but I don't WANT to be cool! I just want my Green Lanterns, dammit.

  9. What happened 2 years ago? Did it happen outside of this guy's brain?

  10. The neck tat, the gauges, and the rectangular no-frame glasses literally scream, "I'M A HIPSTER D-BAG!" "Shut up you idiot" is a PERFECT tag for this goof...
