  10. Why do superheroes wear capes, anyway? I can understand with Batman because he's tapping into people's fears and superstitions with the whole bat image, but what sense does a cape make for Superman, the Shadow, Captain Marvel etc.?

    1. Simple answer: it looks cool. Try imagining or drawing Superman without his iconic cape. He'd just be some guy wearing underpants on the outside! It may sound silly, but truly, it's the cape that makes all the difference.
