You know, that's actually a correct usage of the word "versus" which is often incorrectly used as if it were verb. But I agree it sounds super weird. Grammar fun!

Reminds of an old web site that set up a bunch of "who would win in a fight" scenarios, one of which was Jackie Chan vs. the World. Jackie Chan won.
Give Jackie Chan a prop of any sort and he could defeat ANYONE.
@anonymous before me: Except for Chuck Norris :) Who would defeat Jackie Chan with a blindfold and his hands tied behind his back.
If Jackie Chan was in a ladder factory with a baby in one arm and he didn't want no trouble, Chuck Norris would be toast.
