For Wonder Woman or Power Girl, it's plausible. But Batgirl or Catwoman? Too much material. There'd have to be some serious tearing... As far as the naked superhero girls website: I find it highly unlikely that they really posed for those pics. Probably just their heads photoshopped on someone else's body. Except for Supergirl. She needed the money.
There are some costumes that seem to invite disaster - I have no idea how Arisia stays in that bustier thing she wears without popping right out with every breath; Phantom Lady may as well have been completely naked; and how Karen Star kept her puppies under control when she was wearing the simple white leotard (of course this is before her post-crisis supertits) has to be a super power in and of itself. And why is it that when costumes are ruined the tatters are always strategically placed across the breasts? That's why I loved the Teen Titans in the '80s - when they got naked, they got NAKED. And weird.
Superhero comics fans seem to have a weird streak of Puritanism and Luddism (Luddite-ism?). How do they not know all about the endless erotic fan art and comics you can get online? Why do others flip out if there's one panty shot in a book?
In the interests of equality, there should be similar calls for DC to show Superman and Batman correcting the wedgies that their skin-tight outfits would inevitably cause.
I don't know about those others, but Empowered is famous for the artist going out of his way to tease the readers who crave nipples, managing to create some of the most erotic artwork I've seen without actually showing any naughty bits. It's hilarious, especially when you picture the customer above being endlessly frustrated and writing angry letters which just makes the artist burst into evil laughter.
The day when he discovers Bomb Queen will be the happiest day of his miserable life.
ReplyDeleteAnd/Or Tarot.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the website?
ReplyDeleteOnly if the nipples shoot lasers.
ReplyDelete'Cause, you know, it's so hard to find porn these days.

ReplyDeleteSame old, same old for OVC, but somehow this particular cockroach reminds me why I never admit to reading comics.

ReplyDeleteWith how lot-cut Wonder Woman's top has gotten for the New 52, this guy may just get his wish.
ReplyDeleteI feel sad about the fact that even though I don't read any of those titles, I COULD suggest him a few... -.-;
ReplyDeleteBomb Queen, Tarot and Empowered come to mind.
And just like that I just lost a little respect for myself. :(

DeletePretty good comic, too.
Granted, with some of the costumes they wear, one wonders how they prevent this sort of wardrobe malfunction.
ReplyDeleteThe physics in the DCU must be radically different, because I cannot understand how Harely Quinn's new costume will ever stay on.
ReplyDeletenot saying things like this is step one in getting real women to get naked for you free and willingly. He has an awful lot of steps ahead of him.
