Well, your commentary implied that the dude was an idiot for thinking Tron's a character... which he IS. Now, does he fit most standard definitions of the term "super hero"? Not really, but if this dude considers him one, that's his business. I mean, take characters like the Doctor (from "Doctor Who") or some hero from a fighting manga... they can be defined as super heroes as well, even if most people's definitions wouldn't include them.
@MRTIM: Thanks for the good advice -- the next time I'm wrong about something, I'll have to remember to tell the person correcting me that they're a "pain in the ass know-it-all". Much better than saying "whoops, my bad"
The joke is that he's an idiot for being offended... I think. MRTIM shouldn't be an asshat to his commentators though, that's dickish. Kind of thought he was bigger than that.
Tron was actually the name of the character as well. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteJust saying? Or just being a know it all internet pain in the ass?
ReplyDeleteCome now, you're being no better than the very people you seek to lampoon! Turn the mirror inward, my friend.
ReplyDeleteOur valued double standard. *golf clap*
ReplyDeleteI think Tron is a pretty cool guy. Eh rides a glowy motorcycle and doesn't afraid of anything.
ReplyDeleteWait... so you think somebody saw a Tron movie t-shirt and confused it with a comic book character?

ReplyDeleteI think your comment under the illustration really tied this one together. (Especially because most of your other comments are so understated)
Thanks for the entertainment!

ReplyDeleteWait, I'm confused. Which Anonymous are you?
ReplyDeleteTron isnt a super hero,
ReplyDeletehes a computer program, with users.
You're all missing the point. This guy's funny because he opened his statement by saying "Fuck. You." for no reason at all.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this one isn't as good because Tron actually is a character.
